“Joyride Tour” celebrates the upcoming arrival of Karina Rykman’s hugely anticipated debut album, JOYRIDE, arriving via AWAL on Friday, August 18. The album was first heralded earlier this month with the premiere of the single and title track, “Joyride.” Equal parts thick bass, ethereal synths, disco-funk guitar, and silky, inviting vocals, the track – which features signature lead guitar from JOYRIDE co-producer Trey Anastasio – expertly captures Rykman’s jubilant brand of sonic exploration, bridging an array of genres to arrive at her own compelling and original take on psychedelic indie rock.
