It’s a real shame that the Delta Variant has entered our collective world and is interfering with everyone’s aspiration to see live music in an atmosphere that we have enjoyed our entire lives. ​ We will get there. ​ As we continue to yearn for that time to return, there are still great experiences and healing by music to be had. ​ For now, while we enjoy an epic weekend with our favorite people, we need to be smart and mindful at the same time. ​ 4848 will do everything within our power to create and maintain a safe environment and with the support from you and your friends, we can do this!

4848 is implementing the following measures to do what is best for the whole community and to keep our attendees, staff, and artists safe:

4848 SAFETY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  • All Attendees need to provide (during check-in) proof of vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccination card, or a negative Covid-19 test result received within 72 hours of arrival to the event.
  • All Good Presents & 4848 Festival Staff will all be fully vaccinated, will all wear masks while working and will practice good hygiene.
  • All Food and Craft Vendors will be fully vaccinated, wear masks while working and will practice good hygiene.
  • Testing will be performed on all working staff and vendors upon arrival and will be retested every 3 days while on site.
  • A Covid Compliance Officer will be on site throughout the event.
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be located throughout the festival grounds.
  • We will sanitize public spaces periodically throughout the duration of the event (handrails, restroom facilities, doorways, etc).

We understand that it is not fun to wear a mask, however it is more important to focus on the safety of the entire community. ​ The sooner we knock down Covid-19, the sooner we can enjoy live music in all its glory. ​ With that in mind, we strongly encourage our attendees to follow these recommendations:

  • Please get fully vaccinated before arriving to 4848, if you cannot do so, you are required to provide a negative Covid test from within the previous 72 hours.
  • Please wear a mask when inside any facility (restaurants, shops, restrooms, etc).
  • Please wear a mask outside when you are unable to social distance.
  • Please social distance as best as possible.
  • Please utilize hand washing and sanitizer stations frequently.
  • Please respect other attendees’ physical space and health concerns.
  • Please stay home if you are experiencing any Covid-related symptoms.

Q: What is your vaccination policy for admission to 4848?

A: A proof of full vaccination with a Covid-19 vaccination card or a negative Covid-19 test result that has been taken within 72 hours of arrival is required to enter the festival. Once this is complete, you will receive your festival wristband and be good to enjoy the weekend!

 

Q: Will I need to bring my official Covid-19 vaccination card? Will a digital copy work?

A: We will accept a hard copy or digital copy of your vaccination card. ​ Vaccination proof from authorized state health department resources is also acceptable. In addition, the name on the vaccination card must match your name on a government issued ID such as a driver’s license. Full vaccination means it has been 2-weeks since your last administered dose (2nd dose for Moderna of Pfizer, single dose for Johnson & Johnson). ​ If you are not “fully vaccinated”, a negative Covid-19 test result will be required.

 

Q: If I am not vaccinated, what do I need to show to prove my negative Covid-19 test result?

A: A hard or digital copy of your negative test result must be shown with your name on it, matching your name on a government issued ID. ​ ​ Test results must be from within 72 hours of your arrival to the event. ​ Both PCR and rapid-test results are acceptable.

 

Q: Do children under the age of 12 need to have a negative Covid-19 test result?

A: Yes, children ages 3-12 years old will need to show a negative test result that was taken within 72 hours of arrival. ​ Any children 2 and under do not need to show vaccination proof or a negative test result.

 

Q: I am not vaccinated and am unable to get a test before arriving at the festival. ​ Will there be testing available on site?

A: Yes! ​ Although we recommend getting tested before arriving, we understand that it is not possible for everyone. ​ We will have rapid tests available at check-in for a $20 fee.

 

Q: Help, I lost my vax-card, what do I do?

A: First option, you can check with your state health department to see if they have online resources with your personal records documented. ​ Second option is to obtain a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of arrival.

 

Q: I am no longer able to or interested in attending the festival. ​ Can I get a refund?

A: Our policy states through the ticketing process that “All sales are final and non-transferable. ​ No refunds, no exchanges, no resale.” ​ This remains our policy. We hope that you have a change of heart and decide to join us, it’s going to be an epic weekend!

 

Q: Will festival staff be following the same guidelines?

A: We will be following more strict guidelines than what we ask from our patrons. ​ All staff and vendors are required to be fully vaccinated and are required to wear a mask while working. ​ Staff will also be tested every 3 days while on site.

 

Q: Do I need to wear a mask at the festival?

A: We strongly encourage everyone to wear a mask, vaccinated or not. ​ Stop by the merchandise tent to snag an All Good Presents live music mask.
